Sci-fi novels are really fun, and I like them. However, this Sci-fi novel was not very impressive to me. Like Back to the Future, there are many masterpieces among novels with the subject of Time Travel. However, maybe 'The Sound of Thunder' is a short story, so I felt that it didn't utilize the subject of "time travel" fully, even though it could be written more attractively. Rather, I think it was wise not to use the sf element.

Excluding the drawback of the story, it has a clear main theme. Regarding the fact that it was written more than 60 years ago and the theme of the story can be applied to these days, I could know that this story is telling a pretty important thing in modern society. If this
story does not have a vivid theme, I may rate this story lower than 2 points.
